Cross Timbers: Navigating Life's Obstacles

Centuries ago "Cross Timbers" was synonymous with an impassable band of timber that ran North and South through North Texas.  It was a formidable obstacle to travelers due to its density of growth.  It served as a landmark as well as a dividing line between the hunting grounds of the Plains Indians and East Texas Indians.  Indians used the Cross Timbers as a North - South passageway that afforded secrecy from enemies.

While the timbers have been cleared, current residents of North Texas still face obstacles which make navigating life difficult.  Like early settlers of the Cross Timbers discovered, it is possible to find peace and beauty among the hardships of life.  Cross Timbers Family Therapy is the place to find your bearings and a new direction through life's obstacles.
